I am moving to BRADENTON

I like the look of the schedule at BRADENTON drag strip. Never been to that track before.

Are the test and tunes PACKED full of cars?

I personally can't wait for the NMRA on March 12-14.

you can get a hell of a lot more house in bradenton/manatee county than up here in pinellas. trust me, i'm looking right now.

I am going to be living in a hotel for a few months (WORK)

I can't wait for the NMRA in march. I am pumped. I want to get my car ready at the test and tunes first though. I just put together a new combo.

Is there any chassis dyno's around the area?

Yep.. the propety value in Bradenton is horrible because of the trailer parks and ghettos throughout..

If you stay on SR64 or north, you can get a great house with good property values and beautiful homes.. anything south of that is GHETTO.. 80% of the communities in Bradenton are trailer park ONLY, and 65% of the population can't speak English. Avoid 9th Street south of Oneco, and basically anything between Oneco south to University Pkwy in Sarasota.

If you move to Sarasota, that's a different story. Sarasota is gorgeous.. beautiful houses, etc.

Just try and avoid Bradenton. You'll know what I'm talking about once you move there. :(

I live in B-town too, and I hate it (lived here all 20 years of my life :(...) I go to St. Pete/Tampa almost evey weekend because there is absolutly nothing to do around here.

Oh, and Palmetto is pretty ghetto too. ;)

I'm staying there right now as well. Ugh. fucking hate it. Moved here last August.. After moving here, I immediately started saving to build a house in TAMPA, because I can't stand it here. I even tried to get out of my transfer so I wouldn't have to live here. I won't even let my wife walk the dog alone at night...

If I go to Wal-mart one more time and the cashier doesn't know English, I will fucking flip out.

I will be moving to Tampa from Bradenton here within the next few months. Trying to buy a house.

And yes - Palmetto, Ellenton, and even Bradenton Beach is ghetto as well.

I live in that neiborhood right behind the Wendy's off of SR 64 (West of I-75)... about 7 miles from the drag strip. :)

I live off of 57th..in apartments behind the Red Lobster on 41.
