Anybody going to sunshine tomorrow? I have a little grudge match with a Lincoln Mark VII that put down 443 hp to the wheels last week :o Should be fun! I know I'm not quite there power wise, but I don't think he's going to hook quite like I will ;) Should be fun, all the same.

Ran a 7.93 on my second pass. The lincoln I was supposed to race punked out, but I still got my money from the guy I had the bet with :D They said that the Lincoln's alternator wasn't charging, he wants a rematch in a couple of weeks, but we'll see because I really need to go to the auction wednesday nights. You should have came over and said something, I'd like to put some faces with names, did get to meet Obrien2 though, that was cool.

Do you mean the Toyota Starlet with a rotary? That one was pretty funny, I guess his nitrous is on the throttle, because when he was pulling to the line, he revved it and the nitrous activated, big fireball out the exhaust, then he revved it again, big fireball out the hood, then everybody's running over telling him to shut it off and he's just pulling up to the line like no big deal:dunno: took like 20 minutes to clean up the mess, I guess he threw a rod or something

I was glad to finally meet someone from on here. Big Bad Buick and his wife were very nice. We got to chat for a few mins. Does anyone know who had the civic hatch that had non-matching fenders? I got to run him, and didn't quite have enough to get him. I think he had me by a little over a car.

Nice to meet you too. It helps when you can put a face w/ a name. That makes 2 people we've met from TR. We had met Francis at track day and she was very nice as well.

If I'd said I'd run a 8.53 and you made this offer, I'd accept. If I really ran a 7.53, I'd accept. But being that the car really did run a 7.93, wouldn't I be a little silly to take a money race? Back in the day, my mustang ran 12's on the bottle  But I just don't feel like playing the games anymore :)

This is a 400 hp on the motor Fox ...Its capable of running with ya, do you doubt that? It can do it without the bottle also.. It pushed over 500 when its got the n20 running.

Or are you saying that you know its quite capable and dont wanna race for that reason?

Maybe I will see you out there sometime and if he is there let ya see his run and you can decide..

First off, please stop. Remember when we got into it when you were trying to set up races with your friend's car? I understand that your intentions are good, but what I was basically saying in my last post was if I post exactly what my car ran, and know that it isn't going to go any faster, why would I accept a money race? Obviously you know your boy's car is faster  If you see me at the track, come talk to me, and we'll go from there, but I'm certainly not going to get into another "race my friend" debate in here

But, I can have u race him on the motor for free ro whatever, thus why I said for u to check his car out sometime. I wont be at the track for over 1 or 2 month's until I leave my current job and go to the Fire Academy cause I work every Wed night at that time anyhow. But when I come out, if I see you I will say hey, and maybe u can race him if ya want...
