Looking to upgrade my stereo

OK I currently have 1 CompVR 10 kicking in the extended cab portion of my truck. I am going on a budget but want to add a lil more sound. I was originally thinking 2 10's but a few people told me to go for 2 15's in a sealed box. I have no clue how big of a box I would need but I do have an extended cab Ranger with a fairly good space for a larger box. Any suggestions?

And I doubt you're going to fit the proper size box for two 15's into a pickup truck, unless you do without your back seat.

I am running a shitty Sony amp right now, but looking for a cheap one to put in it.

That's probably your problem. I'd look into a "good" amp before picking up a new sub(s). That compVR should handle around 400w RMS. So I'd get a nice amp that puts out atleast that and see how that does for now. If it's still not enough, then atleast you've got a nice amp to build on.

you should put a hiphonics amp in car they give out good wattage and are not very expensive. u can pick them up on ebay cheap. I have a 1500 w amp for my 2 solo-baric l7 and that shit hits hard. it cracked my spoiler on the back of car. They usally cost around $350 for the one i have , but for what u need it should'nt cost that much.

ok me and graves got done testing the new amp 1200jbl yes on the 1 lil 10 :) It SLAMMMMSSSS it well the lil 10 has put up with enuf pain I cant wait to hear the 2 12's :) water bottle shaking on the roof with 1 10 is pretty impressive lol for the price you cant beat it.

hey racing where did u get the jbl amp at? i was lookin at em on ebay and i read some pretty good reviews on them and they are pretty cheap. What would u rate them?

12+ It has gone threw alotta shit it POUNS the hell outta 2 12 inch 03cvr's with easy with it turned down al il bit and it never never never gets warm not even after 3 hrs of use.
