any different in facing the subs

got 2 10" for eclipse - i face the sub toward the front ,its sound alot of bass. but then i tried facing it toward the back (bumper) its sound ok. i don't know which is better- i perfer facing torward the back. cause its makes clean bass . any ideas? -

Try facing up, but facing back is probably the best.

Facing the back is most common and usually gives the best results. But there's alot of variables...like install, equipment, vehicle, and frequencies you're looking to play at. Just play around with it and test it in all the different directions if you can...go with what sounds the best to "you".
