I am going tomorrow or Sunday, but can't decide which day to go.
Probably going tomorrow to get more runs.

well, Jeremey came down today, along with Jamal, and Eric Anderson. We all seemed to have a good time. Jamal's new tires were really working for him.

I think Jamal and I will be the only 2 out there tomorrow though. Have fun in Tampa guys.

Yeah, It was cool today. I think that was my fourth time on concrete.

I like their Saturday format of run and work as much and anytime that you want.

I also like their staging lights. Those could have eliminated a few starting problems that CFR has had. The starter doesn't have to be at the line and can be in a position to see the entire course better. Were their green lights all hand triggered today???

Mark Sipe's in town too. Sipe on deadish hoosiers, and me in on 195/205 (eek!, I run 205/225 with 85 less rwhp) kumhos were within a tenth, a second or 2 ahead of Penrod and the rest of them. Leslaw wasn't around, FYI. I'll take a digital picture of the BS results for tomorrow Todd. If not, GCAC is usually pretty quick about posting results.

mark sipe was the guy driving the Z4 right? i never would have thought that thing is BS legal by the way it sounds.

saturday practice events are pretty cool down there, too bad it got so busy after the novice school was over. i was pretty happy with how well my camera mount worked and but one of my tires has a significant sidewall bulge so it's time to do some more shopping:(

yeah, Mark Sipe was in the Z4.

I ended up 3rd... James Penrod and his codriver both beat me on their last runs. They didn't post final results, because of computer problems, but they said they should be online tomorrow if not tonight.

It was a fun weekend! Weather was great too! Here are the results (http://www.gulfcoastautocrossers.com/gcacresults0104.html).

I almost had FTD!!! Not sure how that CP Camaro knocked 3 seconds off on his last run??? I was working when he ran, and he REALLY looked fast! Who is that guy? His clean run was faster than Hutter's fastest (which was dirty) in that AM monster! Keith was VERY fast in his BSP M3, almost faster than my SM2 car!

It was great seeing everyone, let's do it again next month, or the next...
