Does it matter where u face the subs in a hatch/SUV? I have them facing up agaist my back seat rite now but i was wondering if i moved the box all the way to the back near the rear hatch and kept them facing up if it would sound ne betteR??

Yes, it does matter... to an extent. If speaker wire permits it... move the boxes around and find out! move them around to you find the optimal position and you are happy.

I would also have to say face it towards the hatch. Facing it foward into a seat mufffles the sound and if your seats are folded down it has nothing for the sound to bounce off of.

no no no its not facing the seats. The subs are firing up towards the roof of the truck, but the box itself is sitting against the passenger seats. I jus wanted to know if i moved it from against the passenger seats to agaist the rear hatch if the bass would b louder since the bass has more time to reproduce ?
