Three Hybrid HB Civics,,,One Turbo

So Saturday night me and Flounder are out trying to find some food to eat. We ended up at Wendys ate and started to leave. Well on the way out we notice a green hatch just like mine pull in with a front mount. So seeing a turbo HB was pretty exciting and it was cold out ;) . We waited for him to finish at the drive threw. He pulled out and we both headed North.. We got on it for a sec and it was pretty quick.. This was from a roll. He turned around so so did I..:evil: Then When coming up to the next light I see him messing with another civic this time a red hatch that also had a Vtec motor..(heard it kick in).. So I speed up and we all catch a light :D .Of coarse I'm very happy now know I'm a great from a stop. Flounder ask the guys in the red one if they know the guys in the turbo, but they dont. Well the light changed and we all hit it. It was most likely the loudest thing I have ever heard... I had a bumped in first we were all pretty even till I hit second and I jumped a car hard and fast :o . Then I nailed third and continued to pull hard on them both.. At that point Flounder noticed the Turbo pulling on the red hatch. In fourth the turbo gained a little ground back but then evened out. I had a good couple cars on it. and several on the other..:cool: Very kool since I have afull interoir and spare in at the moment... We then asked the guys in the green one if it was a daul cam and it was...(Had to see for own enjoyment) .. He didnt seem to happy about the whole thing, but hey it happens to everyone sometime...;)

I know how fast his car is doesnt mean he has an easy time hooking from a dead stop. Also I beleive at the time of this race he was only running mid 12s since we talked for a few mins from window to window. Also I'm not saying it was him,but I dont know many fast turbo'd blue Si's. Nothing turbo owners can really do about the blowoff valve except recirculate it back into the intake which I doubt anyone wants to do.

i've been in connecticut for a little longer than expected...due to a great job where i'm making a little bit of money.

i no longer own the civic...but it made 180whp in 110 degree heat and it weighed around 2100lbs.

i actually own a faster car now...and look forward to running everyone once i get back. there are several people on this site who can attest to the civic...and i guess you guys could take a look at this video hosted by zate of me vs a 336whp camaro that went 12.8's on street tires.

this was from 50-110...and before my car was tuned...still had air conditioning, still had FULL INTERIOR. i'm not saying my car was extremely fast...just faster than your average civic...and faster than your average lt1 camaro...and faster than some ls1 camaro's.
