I've heard all the talk about TR, so I thought I'd see what its all about for myself.
I've got a 71 Chevelle that has been a daily driver, and never-ending... project for the past 10 years. Obviously its come a long way in 10 years, but when is anything ever done!

Hey - Thanks for the welcome.
Yeah I do a lot of the work myself. Of course you have to have help before you can learn but I do as much as I can. This is the 3 motor in the car but I built the first.
This morning I put a new MSD box in since mine finally broke. I can't complain though, 8 years from a 6AL box is money well spent!
The cars not yellow it's white w/ silver racing stipes. I'll try to get some pictures posted soon. :)

Thanks!
It has a 350 in it, bored .040, victor jr. intake, hooker super comps 1 3/4", holley 650, msd ignition, and dart heads. It runs good and makes for a fun daily driver. I took it to Turkey Rod Run last year and it did great on the interstate w/ the 4.11's!
Looks like you have a nice mustang yourself. You don't see many of the older body syles in descent shape any more. I remember street racing years ago when that was all you would see. Funny how things change!

Welcome, and yes it's true how the street racing seen has changed...so much.
71 Chevelle, damn that sounds soooo sweet. Hope to see it and you out some time. Have not seen a white one with silver stripes out and about. Did see a beautiful red one with black stripes yesterday, damn fine old school.

I've seen a few Chevelles running around, but I think one of the most unique was one thats dark hunter green w/ a black convertible top. It looks immaculate from the road but the best part is how it sits. It's got the perfect height on a set of spokes. (I don't know what size but they probably couldn't go any bigger)
Trust me - it's one of those things you just have to see! :-o

Only a 350? It needs a 454 with a Weiand blower in there

A 350 for now!
Not sure what the next one will be yet but it wont be long till I get something else in the works. This ones been in there about 5 or 6 yrs. It's got some miles on it, but you wouldn't know, it runs strong.
Whatever it is it will be faster!
