has anyone used this type of battery for your car stereo? what are the pros to switching over to an battery aimed for car audio? should i upgrade to this type of battery versus an stock honda battery? would this battery be recomended over an capacitor?

im getting a yellow top optima battery for xmas. The discout auto parts around here have em for only $110 on sale. Basicly its a deeper based cycle battery and holds a lot more power than a stock battery. Your battery wont drain as fast, if you want a lil more power storage than get one. I havent read that they accually helped boost performance tho

performance as in louder to the ear. If your battery goes dead on you or if your lights dim a lot or if u sit wit ur car off and listen to ur system u might wanna get one

Yellow top is a standalone battery, meaning in addition to the battery under your hood. Red top is what you would "replace" your stock battery with. Never seen the Stinger battery.

If you're looking to improve your electrical system though(ie. your lights dim) then I would recommend a bigger alternator over anything.

i heard of people replacing their stock battery with the yellow top. And the red was mainly for cranking amps for a stonger start, yellow top stores power better?

I'm alittle late but yes the Stinger battery will do just fine.
