Hey! my name is mikey from Toledo, Ohio. I was told to check this fourm out so here I am. I know a few ppl on here h22prelude, psifactor, and flubyux2.

I drive an Evo 8, that has already been down for that 5th gear grind issue at only 3000miles. Other then that no problems with the car. Everything is stock though except for the Evo7 tail lights, Cusco rear strut bar and Mines front strut bar. Hopefully over the winter i'll be doing some work on the car. E-manage, intake, exhuast, boost controller.

I don't get in many street races out here. Except for crazy rednecks in their annoying trucks. :-(

Next summer at the DSM shootout should be fun :bigthumb:

I've let a girl drive my car a couple of times. She knew how to drive a stick so it was cool. Of course I started having my 5th gear grind problem while she driving so i blame it all on her.

She beat a PT Crusier Turbo with it, but that was a waste of time. Even worse when the guy asked, "does that car have a turbo?" Yes.... "so does this." Ok... thats great.

grlracr: well I live approx 2 and a half hours from Cleveland so if you don't mind going all that way west of Cleveland, the offer still stands :-D

Its nice to see you and Otaking here... especially since Toledo TUners is Teh Suxor of a board and after Marc shut down the Defcon board... theres just as much Drama here on tampa racing too. at least theres serious cars down here, rather than JUST kids w/ their moms civic and APC this-and-that's. (we DO have those down here too though)

oh yea, as far as girls not knowing how to drive cars; lets just say the ONLY person i know who inadvertantly spun out an AWD car was a GIRL!!!!

I saw a 2.5RS spin out at the subie autocross day at the fairgrounds. I think he was trying to spin out, though, so he doesn't count.

Hazard told me that Marc said he could start makin defcon's downpipes. i wanted to talk to marc and see whats happening w/ him, i also wanted to talk to russ too... me and him always got along even though he was kinda jerky to everyone else.

anyways, im gonna get some STi RA Ver.6 suspension for the scooby and some WRX brakes for the front and Legacy H6 brakes for the back of it... he said its time to do brakes and wants a suspension, so im gonna find him some stuff.

Mikey, can you help me get some STi stuff from japan? i found some cool stuff on Yahoo japan, but just dont really have a way to get it to me... any idears?
