yea, al spun kinda bad on the launch, and then the chevette raised the fronts and had to get out of it it was neck and neck till about id say 50 or so, then the chevette just put it to Al. i think the chevette was all motor back then wasnt it?

sorry, the chevette4life doesnt like crowds, its only been a select few who get to see the races...usually myself, zate, aharon, and couple others..very close knit group

Woops I didnt know about the chevette but I think my friend will want to give it a run. He has a smokey and the bandit style TA, a highly built 455, huge blower, 500 shot of nitrous, he makes his own gas for it. I'm not sure if its alcohol or not. But it puts down over 900 hp at the wheels. Would that even have a chance?

Highly unlikely anyone here will beat the Chevette. I ran him with the full 707 rwhp and he walked away from me like no tommorrow. I didnt spin too bad on the launch as stated...I actually hooked well for the street. But the vette was out in front by two cars before I was out of first gear. And thats when it got ugly. Im sure the vette is pushing well over 1000 hp at the wheels and has a weight of 2200 lbs or less. I know he doesnt go to the track much but i would estimate mid to low 8 second 1/4 mile times. So you guys that THINK your fast think again before you get in over your head and lose all your hard earned money. The vette will not race for free.

Well...it goes by the tier system around here. There are atleast 60-70 cars youll have to race before you can qualify to race the vette. Or you can just race me for $100 and if you win ill set you up with the vette.

he only ran his ta twice and only got 8s out of it,he did a few more stuff to it since,he wont race anything for under 800$,its cost him alot of money to make his gas,ill talk to him tonite again now that i found out a lil more at the chevette,if he's game ill pm u
