how in the hell did you get the gas pedal off, after 20 mins of cursing, and getting pissed at the dumb set screws on the pedals themselves, i.e clutch brake, and fortunately getting those on, i went for the gas pedal.... oh my, i was pissed to say the least...

please help, any tips? i unbolted the 2 12mm bolts and pulled the pedal out, but from there on out my frustration > success...

thanks
~ mark

btw, could you let me know if everything went through ok?

thanks again.

i figured i could more easily drift, as you know, thats the in fad currently. i was also thinking about getting big stickers that say subaru drift power on the back windows.

however, on a lighter note, I have STi pedals, the blue anodized ones... and the brake and clutch were straightforward, i wont say easy because of how damn clumsy the little set screws are, but i can seem to get the gas pedal off...

so its lookin all im here and im queer right now because the dead pedal, clutch and brake are all blue/STi pink, and the gas pedal is that sweet ass stock look. you cant beat that.

make alittle more sense?

You've got to undo the two bolts holding the gas pedal against the firewall, then turn the pedal so that it's slightly sideways and press that retaining pin out. I seem to remember there being another bolt somewhere in there as well. Once that's done, you'll have to bend the long end a bit. We ended up drilling out the hole on the long end to make it more oblong, which made getting the STi pedals' retaining into place much easier. From there, screw down that ridiculously tiny retaining nut and bolt the whole thing back up to the firewall. It's easy.

My bad...did not give a good description at all. I drilled the long retaining flang that is closest to the brake pedal when mounted. Basically turned that tiny circle into a small oval. Worked like a charm and no problems whatsoever since.

They make heel-toe/double clutching much easier...honestly. I was skeptical, but installed them and the extended throttle paired with wider brake pedal make double clutching and heel-toe downshifts almost too easy. I'm actually very pleased with mine.

not trying to sound like an ass, but i dont even see you guys at the autoXs, so where will the heel-toe be utilized? i can heel toe my stockers just fine, maybe due to the fact that i wear a size 13 shoe....
