View Full Version : flexin Z06 gets what he had comin

on my way home from work last night i was just about to get onto the verterans heading north right where it starts when i see a new lookin yellow z06 right next to me. i went to switch lanes to pass by a car and my blow off valve leisurely went off. right we he heard that he looked over and stomped it. i havent been beating on my car at all lately due to possible sale and traffic was a little tight so i didnt really do anything back. a little bit down the exp. way it opened up a little and i gave him a mini fly by to show him whats up. he proceded to follw behind but again traffic was just too thick. finally i decide to get off at my desired exit and sure enough he does too. we head around the ramp with him in front of me and 2 cars in front of him. we hit the end off the ramp there was nothing but open road in front of the 2 cars in front of us. he proceded to take the outside lane and so did i as the 2 other cars stayed inside. then front about 40mph he nailed it with me about 1.5 cars back and i hit it right at the same. i hit third and was on his back bumper and passed him shifting into 4th which i held about half way thru. i ended a little over a car in front of him. it was 2 older guys in the car, maybe he was a shitty driver but i thought z06s had more than that. either way fun run and maybe my last

I've raced dave, i'm sure he had no problem beating a zo6 vette...

umm, its not as slow as you think, you're in for a surprise. just go to the search tab and search the war stories for his previous kills. you like many other domestic owners rag the fuck out of imports, even the domestic guys dont rag on this guy because they have already verified how fast it is.

Well the fastest I have seen those types go is 12'os so if it is faster than that then I would be suprised.
I'll take a look at those kills for sure, if it's true then hell at least his car has my respect.

Yea I see that now, that is to be expected for a boosted engine though with little traction. Needless to say 99B16si is loving running from the roll with that MPH.

I have to step back from the keyboard now;)

From what I was told dave did a 12.1 and that was with shitty tires, low boost, etc so good luck fast time ull need all the nitrous u can get
