First off, cops sucked tonight... they were everywhere.

Damn, every time I got out to Gandy I come to realize how slow my car really is, It pisses me off. at lease I'm getting something else soon.:D

On my way home I ran into a turbo type R. I though I'd see how I faird up against one, and sure enough he handed me my ass. Up ahead was another turbo integra ( GSR ??). Maybe I would have a better chance against him... nope. I got beat by two integra's tonight. Good runs if you read this.

Surfnerv89, was that you I saw runnin the skittle in that vid awhile back? If so, thats a pretty nice dsm you got there. Oh and nice deaths against the Acuras.

sorry to hear about your deaths :(. I believe both Acuras always ride out together so you had both taste of Hondas. Did the rx7 run anyone???

supaflytiger - that was me in the vid vs. the srt

urfuct - they were both white. the type r had a mugen turbo decal on it.

sr240se - the rx-7 didn't run anyone, he couldn't find anyone. there were so many cops at sonic he didn't bother asking anyone.

I love the turbo's. that is the one thing I am gonna miss sooo much... spooling sound, blow off valve, opening wastegate.

I want something faster than my car now. and I was looking at supra's. but for the money they are, I would not be able to pay for any maintenence or repairs. and the Cobra comes with warrenty that I am going to keep, It is my best bet. a new car that I can keep relatively stock, and still be alot faster than what I have now.

that was me in the Type R. Good run, I was surprised you were turbo. Nice car.
The other Teg was a turbo LS, looked like you guys were pretty close from where I was.

It's not, but I guess some people still see it as an eclipse, so they figure DSM. Although diamond star motor's built the second Gen. and then were no more.

MugenR - your car pulls pretty hard, it's nice. It was a bit close between me and the other one, but he still did pull.

you may miss the sound of the turbo, but you will get addicted to the instant power of the 03, trust me. Before I got this car all I wanted was a turbo kit, but now that I have experienced how the roots type and twin screw blowers make power, I am hooked. Plus, for the money, you can't beat the twin screw blower for the cobra, its a direct replacement of the stock blower and it is now common to make 640rwhp on pump gas.

Here is an example, pump gas, KB blower. The hp is great, but look at the torque. . .instant 500torque@ the wheels at 2,000rpm!, then it climbs and holds steady all the way to redline. This is very important when racing from a roll. Thats why sometimes I am able to beat cars that are faster than me at their peak rpm because I have the low end power and I just keep pulling while they drop back everytime they shift.

Well, thats my 03 cobra advertisment for the day!

so that's what it is...i raced a gt stang and was pulling ever so slowly, but whenever he shifted he's jump up like 1/2 a car and i would just fall back when shifting....but when we got back in gear it'd be the same thing....crazy i tell you...crazy

I ran an integra on street tires and lost by a car because he had 80ftlbs of torque on me because of NOS. When we went from a roll i had about 80 more hp then him and i beat him everytime. So this shows you need both to win all the time.

scott Yes the gold one:( I ran him from a dead stop on my BFG's. I would say by the 1/4 he had 1/2 car on me. We then went from a roll from 3 times and i pulled him everytime. I was lazy and he was smart. He got out and lowered his tire pressure and he has traction bars. His car is set up to go from a stop and the 270 torque didnt hurt him. I give him full credit for the kill. We agreed to go from a stop. Besides i like to win both from a stop and a roll. I told him i will meet him on thursday at BMP if i can and we will put my slicks on his car to see what it will run in the 1/4. I will be suprised if his car is faster than mine on slicks but i'm sure he will be in the 12's:)

HA, that was me in the turbo ls. Nice run! I wasnt revving on you after we raced if you heard, my clutch is giving out at the higher rpms, anyone wanna sell me a clutch!
