I am running Bose model 100's on my computer, since the cheapo computer subwoofer I have has outputs for speaker wire :D

You can get converters at radio shack that will do the trick

you will need something to amplify to those speakers, my subwoofer has a built in amplifier that is enough to power the bose

There should be a line out jack in the back of your computer that your regular speakers connect to assuming your sound card doesnt suck. Just get a Y adapter and you can connect that to the inputs on a reciever. That's how mine's setup.

exactly get a 3.5mm to rca adapter http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F007%5F002%5F001%5F002&product%5Fid=274%2D883
and run it to a receiver then power your speakers from there.
