The question is for a kicker comp vr its the black one not the new silver ones.Its in a vented box that sounds like its to big on a 222w sony amp what are the perfect specs for a box that is vented and amp size for that sub?

This is the 2002 CompVR 10" Manual:

The Manual says 150 watts.. which seem about right... 200 watts is perfecftly fine is the gains are correctly adjusted. \
Kicker recommends for a minimum size box is 1.25cf:
1.25 Cubic Foot + the volume of the Port
Port tuned to 35hz: 2.5" Diameter x 17.26" Length
Kicker recommends for a maximum size box is 1.75cf:
1.75 Cubic Foot + the volume of the Port
Port tuned to 35hz: 2.5" Diameter x 11.05" Length
Good Mix of both spectrums:
1.50 Cubic Foot + the volume of the Port
Port tuned to 35hz: 2.5" Diameter x 13.61" Length
