A little more detail for those who aren't sure it's worth downloading:

22 minutes of Spec Miata race at Roebling Road. It's almost like driving the race yourself... only you're not that good. ;)

Really smooth driving. I was impressed.

I wish I was that good.

I'm not sure that I even dream that good. ;)

I only got 12 minutes through...Where does he finish? That was a pretty sweet run. I'm no road racer, so I don't know the ettiquette or rules, but he made some aggressive blocks and forced alot of Miatas to run bad lines while worrying about him coming from behind. NICE, that's probably my dream race.... He must have been bumped to the back for some equiptment change or something, or do they invert the order in Spec Miata?....I think my palms were sweating.

I don't know much about club racing, either. It's possible that he had problems during qualifying or maybe skipped qualifying altogether.

I don't think he was being overly agressive, except for maybe once toward the end I couldn't quite tell if he bumped the car in front and caused him to get squirrelly or he bumped the car in front as a result of him getting squirrelly. He seemed to be running a really clean race, so it was probably just the other driver getting goofy.

It didn't look so much like he was forcing the other drivers to run bad lines. Quite the contrary, he had to back off many times because he wasn't quite "in there" and the driver ahead pinched him off. What he did do a lot of was back off just a little, especially in the long straight. He ran wide as possible on the entry, braked in the right place, and just run a perfect racing line that allowed him to carry max speed through the turn and pass.

He simply outdrove the other drivers. You could tell that a lot of them, even some of the front-runners, were nowhere near as smooth as he was.

You might try downloading it again and see if you get the rest. I only watched it once, and I was distracted during the last 30 seconds or so. I'm not sure if he got first. He definitely got 2nd.

Todd started from the rear because he blew the engine in his car in the final practice session before the race. He had never driven a single lap in the car he raced. Makes the drive even more impressive.

Nice run, Good Driver, Good Music, Bad execution from 3rd to 2nd

I hated how he bumped the yellow miata, it wouldn't be bad but he hit him a second time I understand though the yellow miata was hitting the brakes hard at times for no reason but I woulda let him keep second in all fairness, hence why I probly won't win many races but wutever.
