ouch r u serious lol maybe i should do a search then sorry about that, and its funny u ask about the box. Well im a member at caraudio.com forums and i got some specs for a ported box. Well i went to home depot and this was my first ported box i ever made cuz i used to always stick with sealed. Well i kinda messed up the port and stuff so i jus ended up comin with 2 sealed enclosures each with 1.8 cu/ft. I plan on in the next month moving up to a hifonics brutus 1500 watt mono amp and maybe 2 type r's not sure yet i should have pictures soon

also how does that ed a sound? i was going to buy 2 ed k's but i read up on em and it said how ed wasnt too realible of a company so i jus decided to go alpine

1,8 seems large for a sealed box for a 12 IMHO

yeah it did to me too but i did some reading on the forums over there and they said alpine usually tells people to make their enclosures for their subs smaller so that u dont have such a greater chance to blow their subs. The max recc. cu/ft for the subs are 1.7 neways, o well i will see how it sounds later today. I also did that to move up to bigger subs later on that need bigger enclosures

eh I normally build my enclsoures tuned to my sub, and it snot that I think that anyhting is bad with alpine, just the subs seems a bit expensive for wha tyou get imho

yeah i never built a ported enclosure b4 and i jus tryed by what i read and i messed up so im going to try and build one again later. Oh well you live and u learn

yeah I know, my first ported box was beyond terrible lol, leay bitch port volume was worng etc etc

I think Im gonan build a ported box for 2 5.25's for the fuck of it lol

How can the company NOT be reliable with a 3 year warranty on their drivers. That should say something as to how they stand by their products.

Shit, my sister has a e12k.14, i HAD an e12o.14, and now I have an e12a.22. Neither dissapointed me for the $$$ that they costed.

93 ex, where are u giving this crash course at? me and my friends attempted to build a fiber glass box for his 2 mtx 8000's but ended up cuting a whole too big and the box was huge and it sounded shitty so we need help. Do u do it online or in person or what? And aaron, u need to calm down i was jus talking about what i read. Damn also supra kid it looks nice. BTW how old r u? thats a nice ass ride
