well i was just wondering wat the best is the best way of launching a turbo car.

Well give it some gas and slowly release the clutch.If you dont have a clutch then just stab it!

Get a electronic boost controller and slip the clutch a bit on your launch..

it depends on your drive train lay out.

if you spool your turbo at the line, you just make more power and put more torque to your wheels... unless you have Slicks or AWD, chances are, you cant handle a spooled turbo right off the line.

but, lets say you DO have a well-hooking setup (Either AWD or RWD or what ever)... if you sit at the line, just pump the gas, rev it up to redline and let the RPM's fall... rev the engine up and down... not a little, i mean PUMP the gas, youll hear your turbo spool every time you pump the gas, and your BOV will release every time you let off. when the last Yellow lights, get ready to slip the clutch. as you slip the clutch, feed in the throttle so you dont bog... but your turbo will be spooled and ready to hit full boost as soon as the clutch is released...

thats how you get 1.7 60' times on street tires baby... :deal:

I got 1.9s easy with shitty launches on some 225 nitto D/Rs. I had street pressure on them too, so that didn't help. I definitely recommend picking some up if you can.

it was done with a factory awd tranny but the tranny was built.
John shepperd could do it but he wont launch his car that hard. Nor does he need to.
