Well, yeah it sucked. As a matter of fact 90% of it sucked and I'll thank everyone tomorrow for putting up with it. I did make the most of it and got in some good drifting and enjoyed (in hindsight) seeing the GTI and Civic do the WRC excursions - the Civic even had the right wheels that don't allow the rotors to get caked with mud....

Tomorrow's course will make up for it. Muddy can probably attest that it not only flows, but will be fun (but apparently not enough fun to TAPE the Saints game and come out). I was out there at dusk in the rain tinkering with things so that it passes the safety stewards run. The first pass I was not even 60% on it and was hitting third gear. I toned it down some and I think everyone will have a blast. It's fast enough speed wise that the times should be in the 40 to 50 sec. range and the last "element" I've never seen before but turned out great (unless you spin there and are + 10!).

Now that I scanned through all those pics I can at least see that the spectators down in the evil 180 weren't bored...there were all kinds of different eye openers there and only a few got muddy (no pun intended Brian).

this is the black 240sx driver btw, i didnt know i got a 57.8.... hehe cool i was aiming for a 57.... anyway, i was drifting it on a few runs and my 'all out' drift run i got just below a 62 and only skipped one cone (dnf) in a slalom for a better drfit line.... lol...
course was not bad but i do have to say, the SCCA became slalom car club of america, for the day... there was like how many? 6 of them? all in all great day and i had a blast, ill be out next FSF event im sure

im trying to get my video of my drift run on the comp but, the camera work is a lil crappy but the bst video i finally got of my car

There is a bit more to it than just watching the game. I get to hang out with some good friends that are fellow New Orleanians. They are great people to know if you like get-togethers with GREAT food, especially boiled crawfish! :D

thanks for the comment, but honestly the car is stock. i have a Type R rear sway bar, hawk pads and a suspension that has 110000 miles on it. i can't wait to see what the car will be like when i ever get around to putting some better struts and i would like to do type r springs. got to save the cash though. see you at the next event.

lol ya man that sig pic is hot, thanks a TON for getting such a prime shot, first action pic of me EVER, and only decent drift stuff i have, i even have videos of 2 events both i drifted at, that dont surpass the photo. worse yet, the only vid i have on comp is a small clip from 2 years ago when i first started http://helios.acomp.usf.edu/~jjiovani/the_box/BoxMod.wmv
