Alot of manufacturers are going with some funky HU shapes. I guess to get you to spend more on opions...

What kind of HU are you putting in?

that and because they kow most people wont want to change the dash, becuase more and more are integrated etc

right now i've got a nak deck on laon froma friend till my new one show sup

i actually do.. i measure dup for the pocket I was gonna use, till i broke it

ad had plenty of room, but this way you cna use that spacre for wires

use vinyl to cover it up the same color as the dash

i contemplated that too, but then the non mathcing hvac controls, and the extra thickness for the vynl 1/16th on abs + trim ring i wasnt too sure abouthwo it woudl come out.

I shoudl go and get 2 more sheets, and try one vynld, one painted, and the regular

Of course i could alwasy just try mathcing abs lol

if it was a lighter shade it would match with the AC controls and would look perfect

but hey whatever gets the job done right

yeah i didnt realize the grey

hey man gotta have a pencil thats easy to see, so what if it says my little pony on it

All cars should come from the factory with single din headunits that are designed and mounted in such a way that replacing them with aftermarket hu's actually looks better than factory. This said because I really hated the way my head unit stuck out like an inch on my old accord, while mounted properly. Fortunately it fits a bit better in the laser.

That is what I HATE about my Acura. The Headunit looks like shit. In my 94 Altima, it looks GREAT!

Yeah I loved the civic single din with no problem, my old fox body was a single din
