not at all ;)
actually, right now, im more planning it all... it is gonna be a while, but i just want to get it all together... im talking months here.

supposedly that turbo "should" flow for the 2.2, but.... it isnt going to take full advantage of the power capability...

eventually, ill buy another turbo... possibly a bigger aps, more than likely the external wastegate turbos...

What years are the 2.2 close decked legacys? I saw 2 legacys in the junk yard when I was walking through.

2 were auto
3 had 150ish
1 had 225ish

Hmmm...just out of curiosity, how much for one of the high mileage blocks? :)

Judging by your sig, I need to shop carefully.

I don't know how much the labor is worth yet... this junkyard is the muddy monster... no shade... blocks are at a low low 60 bucks... I'm going there in the next couple days to pull apart a motor in case I ever wanna do anything big with my car. Might as well buy the block while i'm there taking apart the motor. Rather learn what not to break on a motor that isnt mine.

I'm lookin for info on the 90ish trannies, I think I might pick one up to blow it up if theres not that many parts to make it fit.

Sorry
bummer... I'm still pulling the motors  they said I couldn't bring a camera in the yard(after we were already done)... looky what I got. That light is the shit... It flips up and down and theres a button in the car that says passing light. I'm assuming it's used to high beam the hell out of people

late night im bord... "91-93 American closed deck EJ22 turbo block were considered "bullet proof"."
http://www.legacycentral.org/library/mike_turbo.htm

and this
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread/t-394305.html

and this (give new meaning to this thing will make you fly)
http://www.sdsefi.com/air17.html

none of the ones in the junkyard were turbo I believe... I guess i'll just take the motor out of one for fun and leave it in the trunk or somthing... I guess i'll start hunting for my own "bullet proof" "aircraft material" ej22 turbo motor... (deal went sour with a trade from cali for my car)

http://www.legacycentral.org/articles/turbomag/intro.htm

the more I read the more I want the swap... I'll have a block by new years... this thing is awsome...

whoa i thought all subarus were 4wd... rwd legacys... rwd wagon :) wonder if the legacy casing will fit my gears/ motor... the internet is my freind...
