Sounds like youll be busy for the next 10 days getting that car together. Heck, I thought I was going to be busy before the track day and all I have to do is dyno tune the car.

Im pals with Dave B. as well. Hes been down to stay with me quite a few times and turned a few wrenches on my Turbo Dodges to boot!

Drats! You Skittles are going to escape an Old school Turbo Dodge smackdown this time!

On Johns dyno last night, I lifted the head off the block at 4400 rpm when we put the wood to it (26 psi boost). Time for a new headgasket!

The run was looking pretty good until the sheet of coolant blew out of the side of the head :(

:o Larry, that is some insane power you are making just as the HP and TQ started to climb the headgasket let go, that would have been probably close to 500 HP or ? some crazy #'s i've been trying to dyno my car but no luck at S.S. since they are always so busy so i'm gonna set something up at R.R. as the dyno in my part of town has moved(no idea where) or closed down for good:(

I could fix it in time, but I dont care to rush. Plus, I may do some other work while the head is off. Im going to try out a 60-1 / Stage 5 / 0.82 turbo thats being loaned to me and see how it works. It should slow the response down low and provide alot more air and less exhaust backpressure up top.

Well I showed up and aint no mustang beat me yet. There was one GT, girly driven to the front of the lanes, then she hopped out and her man jumped in thinking he was gonna beat up on me poor skittle.

Oh well...still undefeated by the mustangs ;)
