need amp help

ok heres the deal

my car sanpped a cv joint and it was sitting for a couple of weeks...finally fixed it and car was dead...started it about 50 times b4 she would crank on....my battery died in the process

i have a kicker kx1200 and the protection light is on. the power light will flash on but then protection kicks right back on...formula for that~~~~> protection light is on for 3 seconds then the power light is on for a split second

my kx800 amp is fine..plays just like it did

does anyone know what this may be??

are thay well covered? just thinking hope no moist air or anyhting from all this heat/rain to short it out or maybe you should try and run the power to the rem also and see what happen

1)Make sure your ground is solid.
2)Make sure your rem or 12v const. isnt touching a ground.
3)Multi. your rem and 12v const. to see if they read 12v.
4)Multi your sub using ohm freq. (its may have blown, and some amps go into protect when Voice Coils fry)
