Almost 90 on mine with no problems. I changed the fluid at 44k and that helps a lot. I will be changing it again here soon.

ah, i change all my fluids like clockwork. trans fluid I do ever 20k miles (sometimes sooner), always comes out as clean as it goes in (which is good, I'd rather see it come out clean, than come out burnt up, hence PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE!).. but @ 65k, I'm feeling some slipping in 4th.. could be because I had a small leak

thats really whack.

what converter did you have installed?

it sounds like its time for upgraded/extra clutches, wider clutch band, reverse pattern/manual valve body w/ a shift kit... or soemthing like that.

a TH350 would get the job done too. heheh.
