Hey, my friend drives a 98 Jetta, he has 3 10's (Rockford Fosgate), and hes running all that off his stock speakers. Niether him or I know much or anything at all about speakers and stuff. Plannin to spend around 200 on the speakers. Any suggestions, and how do i know what size speakers he should get? he has no idea.

I'm gonna assume you mean off the stock head unit?

or 3 10's AND stock speakers

I'm not understaindg your question really, I belive its a 6.5 comp up front and same in the rear doors
