How hard would it be to make a cover for the system like the one in the picture? It doesn't seem that hard but I have no skill at all in this stuff.. never actually attempted anything like this.

I am wanting to make my setup look clean like the one in the picture

yea its basically just a cover.. i already have a box similiar to the one shown there for the 2 10"s, except mine is carpeted... and my amp is pretty long and a cover like that would hide the wires and what not instead of running them under carpet

It'll be like having the system under the trunk or something......

Yeah basically just building a false floor

depending on how high up the box comes etc...

not hard At all really, easy way is to remove the carpet on the trunk floor and trace that to get a close fit.

it's going to change the way your system sounds... it'll be like having the subs in a trunk instead of a hatch...

what are you talking about if you have a Strong amp you will get so much pressir on that back window it will give you a tight punch on the chest but you will not drop the highEnd bass as well but you will get some mirrowShakeing lowend bas that will do you proud AS loong as you dont go cheap as for that back half do it yourself about 60-85bucks custom work 250-375 soundadvise

no... same as putting a speaker grille over a regualr speaker..

well seeing how it doesnt matter cause kirk wants the subs open and glass over the amp rack this whole debate is useless

I think the shop that did my GPS/Alarm does custom installs like that, I'll show them the picture and see if they look at it as if theyve never seen something like it.....

fiberglass is also possible but takes longer-but just get the dimensions of your trunk (where you want them) and the how much cu. ft. your speakers need and do a little math and get sum mdf frum home depot.-all costing you like 30 bucks for just the box
