is the amp actually turning on? check the fuse...
1. check if the amp is turning on like he said, do some circut testing
2. speaker wires
3. sub info, enclosure type, subs blown? take your subs hook them to friends amp too

ACK that sounds like when one of my channels went bad on my amp...get that checked out if it's not the wires in the box
So the sub itself will not play in a friends car?
Get a AA battery and touch the ends on the wires going to the speaker and see if the speaker makes a pop pop noise.. that will verify that it is plugged in fine and getting signal...... if anything your amp is FUBAR
yeah if your subs will play in your buddies car theyre fine if not there smoehitng there... just keep going thru eliminating shit
