Eagle products any good?

hey, has anyone used or heard of how good Eagle products are as far as high performance and quality go? Mainly their cranks and connecting rods.

Have not heard much about the cranks but the rods are supposed to be one of the best out there. I have several friends with the rods and so far so good.

Scat seems to make one of the best cranks.

Thanks for the help Scott. I just checked on the Scat cranks and they look pretty good. I was told that their standard weight 4340 forged crank would withstand about a 1,000 to 1,200 hp while their pro comp lightweight profiled woudl only withstand about 900. Do you know anything about these 2? I am plannin' on puttin' a blower on the 454 when it's done so I'm lookin' for about 800-900 hp when it's done (hopefully) but here's the site if ya wanna check em' out and give me your opinion. We've used plenty of Eagle stuff in the past in both Ford and Chevrolet and haven't had any problems yet. We've got a BBC here at the shop right now with an Eagle crank in it and 2 stages of NOS. 5.50's in the 1/8 with 10.5in tires and stock suspension. No crank problems yet. :)

I have Eagle parts in my current motor and my spare and I am very happy with both. Eagle products seem to be both good quality and reasonably priced. I certainly don't have the money for the high dollar parts like Oliver. I feel the most important thing which helps an engine live is the machine work. I had a motor with stock rods, cast crank and 2 bolt mains live forever at >7000.
