forged rotating assembly about 12-5 comperssion
herbert solid flat tapet cam 266duration @.50 int 276@.50 ex around 620 lift crane roller rockers comp push rods

wating on victor jr intake old torquer 2 for pic
850cfm carb proform race series
summit dizzy mechincal advance will be locked out
looking for 600-650 hp on motor plus 400 on gas

your carb is to small i think..why didn't u go with a roller cam do?

also i will recomend stud gurdles.

whats the max rpm u going to run..also how fair down is your ring stack..it should be around atleast 250 down..if not u will tourch a ring with that size shot.

on top of 1st ring was over .350. this is a heavy piston made for lots of gas,max rpm will be 6500-6800. roller cam was more money and i've had great luck with solid flat tapet cams the break in and right springs are the key factor. also my ring gap is 35 top 29 bottom so it should no burn up top ring. and the 400 will be total in 2 stages 250 off the line 100-150 about 3 seconds out.
i will get new carb in future the 850 is all i afford for now.

i have that same intake on my bbc (it has been polished to a mirror) - ever use one before? - what heads are you using - i have a pair of ls6 heads that have been worked (port, gasket matched and o-ringed, big-big valves and 3 spring setup on roller rockers.

i know some one with a pro system 1000cfm carb for sale..ran only a couple times he wants 600$ i think for it.

it was run on a all motor 347 combo up north.

never used one before not room to port to 1275 gasket.

these are 990 castings fully worked
