Carb size?

The motor is a 305, Basically going to have headers and an intake for now...

As for the intake I am thinking of using a Performer Air-Gap(Idle to 5,500 RPM)...

For headers, I'm under the impression that 1 5/8" headers are optimum for a 350, is that true with a 305? Any brand recommendations?

But my main question is about the carb, would a 600cfm but good with intake manifold and headers and still have some room for improvement?

should by my 355, ill include a carb and headers with it for free

but to answer your question, yes, they will be fine and allow you to move on. but honestly. the 305 is going to be a lackluster performer for the money you'll toss at it.

I know, I was trying to build something different.

Then, I realized, when I was talking to my brothers friend who built a 305, how much he spent, and that changed my mind

I want to go with a 350 block whether its bored 30 over or not doesnt matter, what are the specs on yours?
