Carb size?
The motor is a 305, Basically going to have headers and an intake for now...
As for the intake I am thinking of using a Performer Air-Gap(Idle to 5,500 RPM)... For headers, I'm under the impression that 1 5/8" headers are optimum for a 350, is that true with a 305? Any brand recommendations? But my main question is about the carb, would a 600cfm but good with intake manifold and headers and still have some room for improvement? |

should by my 355, ill include a carb and headers with it for free
![]() but to answer your question, yes, they will be fine and allow you to move on. but honestly. the 305 is going to be a lackluster performer for the money you'll toss at it. |

I know, I was trying to build something different.
Then, I realized, when I was talking to my brothers friend who built a 305, how much he spent, and that changed my mind ![]() I want to go with a 350 block whether its bored 30 over or not doesnt matter, what are the specs on yours? |
