Default 1995 Camaro LT1

After a member of another forum made a post looking for a shop to take care of his car, I contacted him and made it a point to prove our shop was able to handle it.

When the car came in we spent a day or two messing with the car till we came to the conclusion the motor needed to come out and be looked at.

Once pulled the short block was pretty tired looking, with washed out cylinders and bearings that looked like they we're installed at a beach. We pulled the short block apart and sent it out to the machine shop to get cleaned up.

The heads we're just as sad as the short block, with a surface job that resembled beach front property. All 8 intake valves weren't seating and all the valves didn't match. So after three new valve guides, New seals,a valve job, 16 new Ferrea valves and a light surface job the heads are better then new.

Here are some pics of the progress.

Really don't like quoting stuff with out seeing it or talking over the phone. Could you call the shop?
